Hany Hommos

Hany Hommos is an Egyptian visual artist specializing in puppetry based in France.  After graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University, he has worked as a puppet-maker with the Kousha puppetry group for ten years, working with various kinds of puppets including marionnettes, shadow puppets and hand puppets.  His focus in the past few years has been on political street-puppetry.
